Blue Valley Schools consistently rank among the highest in the nation.
Did you move here for the schools?
BV students perform exceptionally well on ACT, PSAT, and SAT testing. Dozens of high schoolers earn National Merit awards every year - the most in Kansas among both public and private school students. Large numbers of students earn AP exam scores that they can use for college credit - potentially saving thousands of dollars by shaving a semester or year off of a college degree.
BV also has a higher number of students who require Special Education services (both disability and gifted) than the norm for Kansas - because families move here for those services.
BV teachers rank as top in the state; most have Master’s degrees. Teachers and administrators move to Blue Valley for the schools, too.
The array of activities and athletics available to ALL students allows Blue Valley to extend learning beyond the classroom. From elementary art, music, and P.E., through award-winning high school programs in debate, theater and band, and state-champion athletic teams, students have numerous opportunities to try new things, learn valuable life lessons, and enjoy hard-earned success.
The Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) was a groundbreaking idea that’s now a cornerstone of Blue Valley Schools. CAPS enables high-schoolers to immerse themselves in career exploration with professional mentors and real-world experiences.
The health and safety of BV students is supported with full-time school nurses at EVERY school; counselors, school psychologists, and other mental health supports. A robust safety plan with School Resource Officers, partnerships with local Law Enforcement, and facility updates helps protect students and staff.
We can either vote to PROTECT Blue Valley excellence - OR elect legislators who’ll cut public school funding and divert public dollars to private, unaccountable schools across Kansas. You can tell who the latter are, because Americans For Prosperity is sending postcards on their behalf.
Vote for candidates who WILL support our kids’ Blue Valley Schools.
Early in-person voting starts Sat., Oct. 19 at BV Hilltop. See our endorsements and voting info here: https://www.standupbluevalley.org/
